Nature of Morva
Our magnificent nature is always open to everyone. In our beautiful rural setting you can forget the hurries of everyday life. Our terrain is varied and interesting: the rugged Mount Morva offers spectacular scenery for both trekking and active hiking. There are 10 km and 14 km of trails around it, and you can reach the summit on foot, by bike or by car.
Services of Morva
Within a three kilometer radius of the countryside hotel there are a total of three campfires: a lean-to on the shore of Lake Myllyjärvi, a lean-to on the Morva sight-seeing tower and a hut behind the mountain. Our lean-tos are at your disposal. We keep the lean-tos in running order and take care of the firewood. Lets keep nature clean so we can all enjoy it.
On request, we can provide additional services according to your wishes: for example, we can arrange coffee and meals at fireplaces, regardless of the season. You can take part in our guided nature tours or go on a lake adventure to enjoy the scenery from the ferry. During your stay at our countryside hotel, we also have the facilities to lend you a variety of equipment for activities, such as Nordic walking, fishing, kayaking and yard games.
Experiences
Morva’s nature and environment offers a wide range of experiences. From the vicinity of our hotel you can access ski trails, bicycle trails and nature trails, or go snowmobiling, among other things. In the winter, next to the main house, there is a 150 m long Muppet sled hill for true madcaps!
You can also take advantage of our extensive guided activities. For example, you can explore the surrounding area with our guided nature tours or ferry tours. While those looking for a more adventurous experience can find something to do with our nearby partners, such as the airsoft adventure game or the Himos ski slopes.
