Our countryside hotel is just a fifteen minute drive from Himos’s services: year-round sports facilities, including ski and summer activities, and Himos Areena Entertainment Center, featuring leading artists throughout the year and popular events throughout the summer. The center of Jämsä is about twenty kilometers away, where you can visit to see the rich handicraft tradition and especially the felt industry.

For a more in-depth look at the nature surrounding the countryside hotel, our village has two wilderness guides, Erätaival and Eräopaspalvelu Talvi, which allow for flexible excursions, adventures and nature experiences. For those who want more action, the Airsoft adventure game can be set in the nearby forest.

Morva’s nature and environment offers a wide range of experiences. From the vicinity of our hotel you can access ski trails, bicycle trails and nature trails, or go snowmobiling, among other things. In the winter, next to the main house, there is a 150 m long Muppet sled hill for true madcaps!
